A couple of occasions you have suggested editing the wrx.cgi file in child installations. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a central location for the wrx.cgi for child installations and just have a symlink under each child domain.
Nope. A Symlink inherits the ownership of the original file. A symlink from wrx.cgi in alice.com placed in bob.com would be owned by Alice not Bob, it could edit Alice's files but not Bob's. Bob would object (you can hear him, "Typical woman, she gives me permission, and then wont give me access"). That's a situation I don't want to have to do customer support on.
