I have installed Editwrx in 2 domains on the same server - both very separate and not connected to each other:
1. Uploading all the unzipped files to http://www.test.check.com.au/editwrx
When I log in using admin & start, I get the Admin Control Panel with the 7 tabs at the top. If I click the Site Parameters tab a pop-up gives the error message "Not Logged In".

Only the Login and Manual tabs work OK.

2. Using installer.cgi at http://www.check.com.au/editwrx

When I log in using user name howmar & password editwrx I can select a file to edit but there is no formatting tool bar and the browser goes to http://www.check.com.au/index.html

FWIW installer.cgi didn't install the sample_pages directory so I wonder whether something vital is missing.

I have just reinstalled #2 again (http://www.check.com.au/editwrx) using installer.cgi with the same result. There is no sample_pages dir and the progress bar said that 513 files were installed.

You appear to be on a PAIR server. Pair servers do not use Apache's standard suexec for permissioning, they use an ancient cgiwrap. Send an installation request at the bottom of the page at http://editwrx.com/download.html.

Thanks, Keith. I've filled in and submitted the form. If it works I'll probably go for the multi-domain option with brand release.

I guess you will be installing files for me (including a correctly configured .htaccess file?) and that I would only have to download them and upload them to other domains on the same server?
