To use Stickies give the user access to Create Inline Link in User Setups.
Click the Inline Link icon after highlighting the content that will activate the Sticky. Follow the instructions on the Inline Sticky Note tab. Once the note is inserted into the page you MUST save the page to setup the scripts that run the Sticky Note if it is the first Sticky Note on the page.
If the page contains editblocks, the user can only edit the content of the note if the user is a Super User. If the page contains no editblocks and is editable from open body to close body tag, any user that can edit the page can edit the content of the note. The reason for needing to be a Super User if editblocks are present is that the note syntax is embedded at the very bottom of the page - outside of editblocks.
Depending on a variety of situations, a Sticky Note may not seem to work (turn on/off) until you exit the editor. That's due to the nature of wysiwyg behavior for absolute positioned elements.

Remove a sticky note?? They're so cool I wonder why would you ever want to remove one?? :-)
You of course can remove the link to a Sticky or Inline Image the same way you'd remove any link. The 6.11.060402 update will also remove the trash left behind in the code when you save the page.

I have been making notes like your sticky notes manually for quite awhile on one of my sites and would love to do it through Editwrx. The problem is I would like to link to the sticky notes from an icon I have created and not from text. Is this possible? I can't figure out the
"To link an image drag your mouse over the image until it grays out" Mine doesn't seem to gray out.
Love this software. A happy multi domain registered user. Worth every cent and more if you are contemplating buying...John

It's tricky until you do it once.
Put ther image on the page. Place your cursor AFTER the image (to the right of the image). Hold your left mouse button down and slide the mouse back over the image. It will 'gray-out" when it becomes selected. Then, while it is selected, click the chain link icon and set the link. Then toggle the editor off and mouseover the image and you will see that it is now linked (with the editor "on" links are disabled so you have to turn it "off" to see that the image is linked).
Selecting an image can be done from either side or even from above or below, but it's easiest from the right side of the image. The thing is, you must be able to see the cursor on the page next to the image, then slide the mouse over the image while holding the left button down.
